Drugs, Virgin & Rock ‘n’ Roll

LSPS Season 2 Episode 6

Summary: “There’s gonna be a lot of references to drugs.” Cary is back from Tennessee after being Dear John’d by his high school love. And after graduating in ’74, Cary is off to the races in ’75. And by races, we mean drugs. Cary walks us through the days of his early drug hustling, the emergence of cocaine, the disco era, and more. Cary tells us the story of the legend of Charlie Starr and how he introduced Cary to angel dust. Then we begin the tale of the snake-handling shock-rocker… Joe Savage! The mid-70’s were a crazy, crazy time.s…) more!
